I saw the Rolling Stones last night in Charlottesville.

All I can say is...I really hope I can run around a stage for 2 hours girating and rocking out when I'm in my mid-sixties. Damn!

Given your previoius posting, I still find it funny that you didn't know what the classic song "Brown Sugar" was all aboot.

(just trying out the new Canadian accent, eh?)

Snort a couple of fat rails of blow just before getting out under those lights and you'll do just fine.

Yeah, maybe Mick read my blog before he went on stage...

A man I work with, who's about 40, went to see the Stones in DC the other night. He was complaining of being kind of tired, possibly too tired to enjoy the show, as he left to head to MCI. The next day, he was also saying how amazing they are at their age. I have no impulse control, so I said, to this very fit, avid runner father of two: "Oh yeah? They have at least 20 years on you... and you were worried you'd be too tired to sit and watch them. Wow!"

I would consider it a feat if I could still blog at that age. :)

Canadian Thanksiving = celebration of the harvest. It's earlier than American Thanksgiving because it gets colder a little faster...

Well..Keith Richard et al have had total blood transfusions over time, particularly during the
Sticky Fingers /Exile in Villefranche/Heroin years, so all of those Dr. Feelgood cures must be doing some good.

This isn't age-ism, it's a cold hard fact. There aren't many people that age who have that kind of energy - especially after years of debauchery and drug abuse. Period. I'm giving mad props where props are due.
