When you see something blatantly obvious and incredibly offensive (and possibly even laughable) on the internet that involves a person you care about, and when the first draft of an angry and frustrated e-mail response starts off with the phrase "eat shit you insensitive, pathetic, douchebag excuse for a human being," you're probably better off to wait 10 minutes to calm the fuck down before allowing yourself to hit send. Because mature adults don't actually say those kinds of things out loud.

Hmm. Sorry to confuse. I was just commenting on how hilarious and irrational an initial angry reaction can be.
How to say this in the kindest possible way (because I'm a sweet and kind person)? Let's just say I have seen photographic evidence of a certain fellow's break-up coping mechanisms. Unsavoury at best, and a definite downgrade. But I'll leave it at that. Because at this point, it's really no longer my business.

Ugh - while you're right its none of you business, you are still a human being who feels shit. I'm going on 8 months since my breakup and something like that would still get under my skin. Hearing your emotional reaction just stirs up that adrenaline-filled rage you feel when you think about situations where your ex is doing something that regardless of whether it should bother you, does. I'd say it gets better...and with time it will...but it's a long haul filled with alcohol and lots of drunken debauchery.

I'm not one for lasting bitterness. I sleep it off and then it's done. Otherwise, it becomes impossible to find the next person who is really much better for you.
You just have to be able to see it for what it really is.

Oh hell yes! Even my weekend break-up diet involved drunken debauchery. I just keep it to a certain level, is all. My debauchery doesn't hurt people.

Really, mature adults don't say that stuff ? I thought being a mature adult meant you could say those things and just not get grounded.
But then, the mature adult thing is full of that nasty word ... consequences.
