Little Timmy

Three years ago, I was a bridesmaid in the wedding of my oldest friend (oldest, of course, meaning number of years we've known each other). It was a fairytale Christmas wedding, and you could tell by the bride and groom's complete adoration for each other that good things were coming.

When I found out my friend was preggers about five months back, I was elated. This isn't just ANY friend's baby. I've known the girl since I was three; through drool, underwear clogged toilets, girl guides, puberty (she had to teach me everything), bad hair cuts, braces, first kisses, first boyfriends, first jobs at a fastfood joint, driver's ed, sleet, snow, family illness, college, weddings (we're still wondering if she'll ever get to be a part of mine)...you catch my drift. I'm a virtual aunt here, people. Then, a week ago, she sent me these. I cried. Thank you GE technology for melting my heart. I can't WAIT until April.

These virtual 4D scans they have now are amazing, aren't they? The friendship you wrote about is equally amazing in it's longevity in this "here today, gone tomorrow" world we live in.

    Wow! That is pretty cool!

Maybe if I can secure that technology I'll put up a blog called "Guess What Tac Ate?"

What song do you think I have in my head now? Even more annoying is that I'm sitting here at my desk, head bopping just like K-Fed.

Someone needs to do an intervention on Thicky and Cookie STAT. I saw the Ashton Kutcher spoof on SNL, as well. He really captured that slack-jawed "nobody's home" look with just the right attitude.

That's freaking crazy. My brother and sis-in-law sent me a whole video and all I saw was fuzz and amoebas. I can't believe how clear Little Timmy is.

When I first saw your title, I geared up for a post on Timmy on South Park.

PopoZao: Did you hear Russ Parr (I think) one morning last week introduce this song on the air? People were calling in and saying the nastiest stuff about it. They were calling it a "hot mess!"

And Beautiful Baby, btw. Sonogram technology has really taken off-- I love how you can even tell the details of Timmy's face already!

The song is weak, but...if it came on in a club, I'd shake my ass for sure.

I'm not cold-hearted or anything, but fetuses TERRIFY me. I mean, they're IN another person. And all cramped up like that? I just don't understand it.

I just can't get over the technology these days. They used to show me these ultrasound pictures of my kids and say things like that's the baby right there, and I would just agree and wonder what planet they were from to see what I was sure an alien in there!! LMAO

Tell you oldest friend best wishes from another troll in the blogosphere hon. How amazing to find a friendship that has lasted through all these years!!

Your friend is lucky...her fetus looks cute. She must not drink much.

My fetus is totally going to have a cocktail in it's little hand. At least it will if it knows what is best for it.

Oh...and the heart breaks to see that the belligerent intellectual is not single. And not gay. *sigh*

Like yours, my fetus will be posing with a martini glass in each hand.

And yes, B.I. is quite possibly one of the funniest bloggers on the planet. He's definitely on my 'I want to mind-hump you' list (along with RCR and El Guapo).
