I Know You Want To Be Me, Verbatim

DC Blogs pointed me to a very interesting site. Someone has basically ripped off my entire blog, verbatim, pictures and all, and is posing as me from another location (KOB mentioned Antigua?). Perhaps to try to generate ad revenue through google adsense?

Spam comments are bad enough, but a complete and total copyright infringement on another site? I probably shouldn't even link to the bastard at txthub.com who has stolen my identity and my words, but I wanted to make sure this doesn't happen to everyone else.

Thoughts?

Hmmmm - KOB was doing some research after finding the copy of my site, and it seems the site no longer exists. That quickly. Nice job KOB.

KOB also let the Urban Family let us know this is happening.

So basically this person is living a way more fabulous life than me. They make cash off of my blog, live in the Carribean, and do no work.

    How do you stop it?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I guess.

Strange, though. I've never heard of this...they make money somehow I guess, or why do it....??

Thanks Cookie ... I didn't see anymore tonight, although who knows. ... I doubt there's any kind of connection between the hosting company and the person behind this. It's a free blog hosting service, so anyone can use it. It may well be someone living in a Red State behind this. I do wish, however, that Google Adsense would do a better job monitoring just who is placing their advertising. That would nip this kind of thing quick.
